...the early results from the 2021 Survey of Rural Decision Makers are out and you can see more here and here .

One interesting result is the results of the well-being index. The WHO-5 Index was developed over 20 years ago to assess well-being, and has become the most common measure of well-being worldwide. It is based on a short questionnaire reflecting on the previous two weeks and is measured on a 0–25 scale.

Lifestyle farmers have a higher well-being score than the general population as seen in this graphic.

Highly likely we are too busy with caring for our livestock and a myriad of other chores that leave no time for us worrying about what the rest of the world is doing. :)

Ill take it!! Being on an LSB brings so much joy & learning, you get out what you put in. If you approach it like you have plenty to learn & actually put time into doing so, you can avoid many of the LSB pitfalls & really have the good life you are seeking :)
