This spring has seen a huge increase in the number of sand flies, not just around our place but through out our area. Anyone else around North Canterbury seeing the same, and better question, why??

I think they piggy-backed on my Bumble bees as they flew south! :whistle: I haven't seen any up here so far but they may get started when the humidity hits us.

Normally the sandflies arrive here also when its gets humid later in summer
