Thank you again wttmf, I have been researching and watching and I definitely need to go down that track ASAP. (She went for one of the chickens the other day, while I was saying "leave it" - she knew she was doing wrong but could not resist it when the chook ran right under her nose... Anyway, the chicken was unscathed, but I cannot risk it again, we may not be so lucky next time and I definitely don't want her to get a taste for it!)
I looked at the brands you mentioned though and they are prohibitively expensive :-/ I also looked at an MGG DTC280. It seemed reasonable. What do you think? Or is there another affordable brand I can look at?
Anyone else used one of these?

i would recomend the dogtra brand over anything cheaper, we have a bark collar of that brand and it is way more reliable than the cheaper ones
