Whangarei Poultry Show - May 25th, 26th was created by Inger
If you've been waiting all year for the Poultry Show in Whangarei, your wait is nearly over. 
As usual, it's in the Badminton Hall in Porowini Ave and it's the last weekend of May as usual.
Saturday 25th; 1pm - 5 pm
This is the best day to go, if you're wanting to buy poultry. There is a 'for sale' section by the entrance. There is also a 'for sale' table and raffle tickets, by the entrance as well. Tickets and catalogues are available for a very reasonable price, at the door.
Sunday 26th; 9am - noon
As well as the large number of birds in the competitions, there will also be the National Orpington Club competitions. This will give you the opportunity to see the best Orpington poultry in NZ. Don't miss your chance.
The North Island Game Bird Club are also holding their competitions in conjunction with the Whangarei Poultry and Pigeon Club Show.
The large Badminton Hall will be full. There are usually around 800 birds, when these three Clubs combine their competitions. So it's well worth having a look at the best bred show birds in the wide range of poultry and pigeon breeds available in NZ.
It's a fun, cheap day out for the family and if it rains, it won't matter, as it's indoors.
