Damn awesome, well done hubby. :D :D :D
I assume you have a bucket to sit at the front to bribe her [;)]

Have you used it yet?

Very nice looking stand. Goats respond very well to food bribes ;)

The man at the top of the hill didn't fall there! [:D][^]

7 acres, 10 sheep, 1 cow, 10 chooks, 4 goats, 3 very spoilt cats. Living the dream.

Looks just like the one our girls use. Should be wide enough for you to sit on while milking. The hook wouldn't stay done up with our head bale so we use a bit of twine to hold it shut.
Well done.

10 acres in sunny Southland. Husband and 3 boys. 17 Wilties, "Clucky quarters" 2 doz + chooks, rouen clair ducks, Coffee our Irish Terrier and Kaz and Mooch our wee Kitty's. Our Big White Shepherd, Nena. Bennie and Mo the moos

I will do pictures when I can milk with two hands. Had a run in with the food blender last night and have lost the nail on my left pinkie so can only milk one handed for the moment. Picture was taken before we sorted out the food bail.

I always use a stool- or a plastic armchair :D - or even a nail box, as sitting and twisting sideways would give my back gyp.
Currently I am able to prop my elbows on my knees as I lean into the goat's warm flank hoping to pick up and redirect any ideas she may be harbouring about twitching, upending her feed in the hope of discovering a layer of chocolates in the bottom (can't think why else they'd do it) or scratching her ear with the nearside foot.
This is all much easier on my back and shoulders.
Of course the stool has to be put somewhere the goats can't get it between uses.
