Well she bleated and wagged her tail this morning, what a thrill.
She's still eating seeding grasses, puha etc and chewing her cud.
She still has a nice soft tummy, very boney but guess that will take a while.
We've had a few chats LR about Levamisole & goat drenches in the past so I won't fill up this convo with that but thanks for your input.
I was worried she also had scabby mouth but after looking at photos on recent discussions on this forum I'm thinking not.
Scabs on her nose came off very easily with a clean but ears a bit crusty, prob the least of her problems.

thats great to hear :)

Scabs maybe due to mud, or milk on her?
Or from the lice bitting her or her scratching because of them bitting?

I had a kids with scabs & vet told me at it was the second that week she had seen with scabs due to lice... I hadnt even looked for lice until she found some on him, treated him & scabs fell off soon after

Good to hear of improvement!

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

The problem with levamisole and goats, for those who want to know, is that there are 22 or more drenches with levamisole in them ..... and only one is called "Levamisole". Thus if you want to not use one or more of the active anthelmintics, you have to look at the ingredients and not the name of the drench, pour-on, or injectible.

I am absolutely stoked and surprised, she's still frail but appetite great and perfect poos.
By the time she was on the table at the vets on Mon am she looked dead, temp was 33 and it took 4 catheters and about half an hour to find a vein.
The stress of being weaned young and a day at the sales in a concrete pen must have been so stressful.
I won't relax for another week but I'll sleep better tonight!

Popped her out in the sun for a couple of hours today and she ate really well.
Strong gust of wind would have blown her over though.
