Haven't found any here thank god as i would be still running. I have a real bad phobia about bees and wasps, so if one was dfound here it would be quite traumatic Ewwwwwwwwwww

I seem to recall I was told they'd move in winter - maybe it depends how cold the winter is?

Not sure Llew, I haven't been there for a full season, although come back and forth, its just something we notice more so in the hotter months.....

aawwwhhh.. come on everyone... they do no damage, don't sting and pollenate our plants... leave them alone... I felt very honoured to have one in our garden many years ago and would never kill them off... :(

I am deadly allergic to honeybees but don't hold a grudge against them or the bumble bees..

Just been stacking the hay into the hayshed. I made sure I left their flight path clear, and a wee bit of room either side of the nest entrance.

They are quite small for bumblebees, not not sure if they are the native ones or the imports. Seem to be lots of them tho.

As I said, they are not causing any problems, so shall just leave them be.

cheers
Jan
