Too hot.. kills appetite... good for my waistline, I guess...

Made a bunch of cold salads this morning for dinner tonight - chicken salad, broccoli slaw, potato salad, zucchini/cucumber salad, steak salad. Will be lots of leftovers for lunches!

we had home made burgers & chips last night as it was easy for 6 people(we have people staying)

tonight was chips & dip then salad, potato salad, spicey wedges, garlic bread, then on the BBQ fillet steak, sasuages & wild venison. & dessert was warmed cookie time pieces & hokey pokey ice cream

Animals rule our place... cows, calves, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, donkeys, chickens, ducks... the list goes on
...."lifestyle block like" 25 or so acres around the house attached to a rather large farm with dairy drystock & a 600 cow dairy conversion :)....1500 acres to call home

lol - leftover chicken into a risotto - with the home made stock... added mushrooms, onions and other goodies to turn a $14 chicken into a second meal for 4 adults by essentially adding a bag of rice...

Well you'd best have a really hearty breakfast tomorrow then! [8D]

We had lemon and peppered fish, refried mashed potatos and salad - with sticky date pud for dessert.

Too hot to think about it, let alone prepare anything - and as we got a heap done outside today, we felt the need to spoil ourselves... so it's a trip down the hill to fetch a deli meal from the local New World. [^][^][^]
