Hi, I have 4 pekins from incubator, 3 drakes and 1 duck. I know the ratio is off but for the most part they all live happily together. However 1 of the drakes has slight angel wing which doesn't bother him and is smaller than the other drakes, but 1 of the other drakes is constantly being aggressive with him. He will chase him around and nip and bite at him to the point my small drake flinched and runs even if that drakes makes a move anywhere near him. Is this normal and if not what can I do to stop this behaviour? Thanks
best thing you can do is eat or sell some of the drakes. Keep the best one for breeding if you are planning to do that. Drakes will sometimes fight to the death especially when breeding season begins as they get aggressive with other drakes, and it is not going to be a pleasant end to the small one that is getting picked on. Also the single female will become the target of too much attention to her detriment.
Did you know, that what you thought I said, was not what I meant :S
