Hotmail addys

Can someone tell me why I can now not now receive hotmail emails. I can send them and the people can read them but when they reply I still don't get them. Have I altered some settings do you think.

only thing i can think of is that they are going to your junk mail. check that, think it gets deleted everyday so maybe add them to your hotmail contacts if you havnt and see if that works. otherwise i wouldnt have a clue. goodluck

Hotmail seems to have a life of its own. It seems to have a lot of problems.
I send stuff but it is never in my sent items and have been told of emails sent to me that I have never received. I only use it as an addy for untrusted or new sites on the net. When I really want to ensure that I receive the email I get it sent to my 'proper' address.

I was talking to someone yesterday who thinks that since I update Nortons it may have started then and is could be blocking it. I have to try an experiment today to get an email sent from a hotmail addy while Nortons is turned off, briefly, very briefly. If it gets through then that is the problem. The thing is though, that I sell on trade me and a lot of the punters have hotmail addys and there emails are not coming in. They are receiving mine though.

Hi Toni, I used to have Nortons, but it caused too many problems with other stuff that took me ages to figure out, so I got rid of the nortons and picked up one of the free ones available. I have no more problems, and the anti virus I have works well.

But then again, the hotmail addys seem to have a life of their own no matter what you do !!!
