Child car seats was created by maggies mum
Hi all , I need to hire some child car seats for over the Easter hols, for 2 weeks minimum.
Before I look for some I thought I would ask here to see if anyone had any that I could borrow. They must be in good condition, ie:safe!
I need seats for
Child 17kgs
Child 28 kgs
Child 34 kgs (I'm hoping the booster seat have will be ok for him)
Another child is 45 kilos, but I don't think she'll need a car seat.
Regarding the booster seat as above, chances are this will be fine, but I think he'll need something to bring the seatbelt down a bit as the cross strap will be too high up on hos neck. Can you get the seatbelt attachments that adjust the belt for kids??
thanks, any help would be appreciated.

Try your local plunket, they usually have seats for hire and they are the proper ones. AND, the money goes to a good cause. I have hired them for my car, but now there are so many kids I bought a permanent one.

Hi MM, yes you can get things that take the seatbelt away from their neck. I think it's called a Safe T Rider?? Triangular shape which domes around the bits of the belt which plugs in- works from the booster seat stage through to about 7-8yrs. Gave mine away last year at long last, sorry- you might be able to find one on TM? Can you put an ad in the local primary school newsletter maybe?
