Now perhaps you can explain what witheze is on about.....There was a mention of red shade cloth there too!

Seems a lady down in the south island purchased a piece of land from an orchardist - being on a hill possibly not that valuable to his "farming". He is now covering his orchard and its a reasonably large area with red shade cloth to protect his apples from hail - the red cloth as apposed to green or black helps his apples redden - EEC trialed and still not conclusive - was on close-up see their website.
Can't he;p but think they made the deal a real difficult one and the orchardist is getting his own back

Its like the wine but lasts longer

the house is on a hill above the orchards and he doesn't like the view with patches of red in it.

It isn't just one lady - half of Riwaka has suddenly gone red - and the non-orchardists are seeing red. Relax - it will no doubt be coming to your view soon.
