Frustration is setting in - new printer probs was created by Birman Babe
Hubby was kind enough to buy me a new printer HP OfficeJet 6310 All-in-One. I have it all set up and thought I'd done it correctly BUT when I try to print anything out the fax option pops up on the screen but I dont wanna fax, I wanna print. Have read the manual to the best of my ability but cant see how to recitify this. Can anyone help...PLEASE!!!!

Hi BB,
When I bought an HP OfficeJet (a long time ago) I remember it installed 2 different printer drivers:
1) HP OfficeJet Printer
2) HP OfficeJet Fax
If you are getting the Fax option whenever you try to print anything it's most probably because the HP OfficeJet Fax is selected as the Default Printer in Control Panel.
To change this, open the "Printers and Faxes" option in Control Panel and Right Click the HP OfficeJet Printer device. From the menu which pops up, select the "Set as Default Printer" option.
That should solve your problem.
Cheers,
Grant.
