Hey ardnas, only one sleep to go to The Cure!

I'd been warned by friends that the venue is a bugger as there is no onsite parking, have been downloading maps etc of where the carpark buildings are and how to get to the Arena, you might want to check it out if you haven't been there before. We're hoping to get lucky with a roadside carpark, but if not...

I've heard of The Cure but I couldn't name one song they're famous for. I'd probably recognise it if I heard it but not which band it was. I know, I don't get out much. Give me Dori Day anytime.

Awesome concert!! One of my friends who came up from ChCh for the concert managed to get in the front row of the moshpit. He had smuggled in a camera and got 127 photos. He is not a professional photographer, but they are fabulous shots all the same.

Thanks, it was the best concert I have ever attended to date. Up until now it was this Pink Floyd concert back in 1988.

No, Western Springs, Auckland. It was the one where the bed flew across the crowd (apparently did this at all their concerts) and they had a huge inflatible pig.

I'm not actually a huge Pink Floyd fan, don't even own any of their LPs. It was the most amazing musical and visual experience though. My boyfriend at the time gave me my ticket for Christmas. Tickets cost $40 and everyone thought that was hugely expensive at the time, LOL!

They are fantastic live for sure. After thinking about it I probably saw The Wall a lot earlier than 88, but of course I'd have only been a wee young thing!
