Wondering if those of you who use an external hard drive can recommend a brand for me please. Looking at a 300 GB model.

These people have the cheapest online at the moment

All of the major players are much of a muchness these days - Western Digital, Seagate, Fujitsu and Hitachi. Probably all come out of the same factory.
