How can I tell if the USB ports on my computer are USB1.0 or 2.0?

start menu button on taskbar, control panel icon on start menu, "system" icon in control panel, hardware tab, Device manager.
then click on the Universal serial bus controllers line and read what that says
This is done using classiv view for control panel, in category view, choose category "printers and other hardware" and system is in the menu to the left of the screen under "see also"
hope this helps

Not always clear if it is or not, maybe google your computer and get the specs, or find the motherboard model and google the specs on that.
