5 acres, Ferguson 35X and implements, Hanmay pto shredder, BMW Z3, Countax ride on mower, chooks, Dorper and Wiltshire sheep. Bosky wood burning central heating stove and radiators. Retro caravan. Growing our own food and preserving it. Small vineyard, crap wine.

re hyperlinks, it used to be that you could just highlight the words you want to use for the link title and then open the link icon and paste the 'https:// etc and all was good. It seems now that the highlighting does not work?

Kate, the url part of the hyperlink has page=gr&GRid=%20 but the example (mainly the %20 part I have been given, does not have that in it, just a number which corresponds with an ID number of the entry. Do I leave that part %20 out of the url or include
eg page=gr&GRid=%20123456 or should it be page=gr&GRid=123456
eg page=gr&GRid=%20123456 or should it be page=gr&GRid=123456

%20 is a space. You can use either, often.

I just copy a link and then use the hyperlink button...not sure about the highlighting...give me a minute

You do have to copy, not just highlight, the link.

Ah, but the programme i need to access, does not have a hyperlink button, hence the reason I need to create one.
