Is there an easy way to do this? Our house has 6 lots of blinds, four of which are pretty big, but small slats.
One lot I spent ages wiping the dust off with a damp cloth. The large ones with the small slats are taking forever as one wipe over with a damp cloth is just not doing it and I am bored. So if anyone has a better idea how to clean them with less effort, please tell me.

There is a blind cleaning gadget I've seen in the curtain and blinds department of Spotlight. It has multiple "fingers" that slide between the slats and clean both surfaces at once.

You might also find it in Briscoes.
Looks like it would be used dry which would make the job easier...
Have you tried the soft furniture brush for the vacuum cleaner and have the blinds closed while vacuum-ing the surfaces (front and back, swapping sides by using the blind's cord control).
