Blog?

Can someone please tell me what Blogs are all about. I admit I am not a computer geek but up until this blog thingy I have been sort of able to keep up with internet stuff..............

blog is short for "Web-Log", it's a 'log' of whatever you want. Usually peoples day to day life. People have a personal blog, where they can add an entry every day (or whenever they feel like it) and write anything they feel like. A story, what they ate for breakfast, a photo of their mown lawn, absolutly and totaly whatever!!!

They can be very random, but often interesting and funny to read!

Alot of people use them so that freinds and family can keep up to date on what's going on, especially if overseas or something. They can just go there every day and see what their daughter has been up on on her big OE when she makes a new entry. (random example!)

ohhhhh....

That is what I thought they were ... how disappointing..

The latest Netguide mag had an article about manufacturers complaining about bloggers so thought I would ask the question.
