Did you play an April Fools prank today?

I posted up on my facebook page saying the ambulance was coming, the baby had decided to arrive 2 1/2 weeks early. I am 45 in a couple of days, but yes three friends fell for it despite never having mentioned being pregnant (or rather not pregnant) or even trying for a baby.

Somebody played one on my neighbour. Whenever she tries to fly out of Kaitaia, more often than not the plane is delayed or cancelled. Today, on a perfectly fine and calm morning, she was sure all would go well, but she was held in the Kaitaia airport for four hours, because of fog in Auckland. Some people are jinxed. I try very hard never to fly on the same day as her.

But otherwise, no. Too many serious issues of death and injury going on around the periphery of my life to try playing jokes on anyone this year.

having had a rough fortnight with my demented mother which at times is a fools day joke all on its own, I decided to live within normal parameters today and kept my head low and out of harms way.

Our April fool's day is always a delight. Me and my OH got married that day.
