Got a brand new dog crate - great company

I needed a reasonable sized dog crate as my older Heading Dog is in my big crate at night and my Lab X Huntaway is outgrowing her crate - she has legs like a giraffe!

I searched around and found good crates at Tradetested.co.nz in Auckland. Lots cheaper than the similar crates in pet shops or on line and best of all they have crates with metal trays in them. I wanted metal rather than the plastic that's become common as I was planning the new crate for the growing pup.

Delivery has been fast and efficient with emails telling me the progress of the order. Given the time of year I didn't expect the delivery till at least next week but it arrived via rural delivery this morning. As I ordered one crate and the weight was under 30kg it was freight free.

I am thrilled with the crate - have given it to the older Heading dog who is stretched out happily and the old crate she has is now occupied by the Lab X, who can finally stretch out full length for a few months till she grows a bit more. I will be ordering another crate when finances allow in a couple of months and looking at some of the other farming products this company stocks.

Given I ordered a crate larger than needed (it will fit a pretty 40kg dog easy) I am thrilled with spending only $139.

Interestingly there is a thread on Trade Tested on one of the trade me forums a while ago and everyone was really negative about the company and had some really bad dealings with them and their products
So some products could well be better than others but I looked at their feedback and its not that good, a lot of disgruntled people with their products

interesting muri. I don't do trademe so wasn't aware of that. I see they have cheap electric sheep shears - I was thinking about but will do more research. At least the dog crates are ok.
