Black tomatoes ...they are meant to be !

Hi we were given a tomatoe plant ...it has black tomatoes[:0] ...what are they like ...where do they come from ....this one came from Waihi Beach []

Also SIL gave us a chilli planyt ...he said it is a capsicum but long like a chilli ...and mild ...what is it:confused: It already has flowers

Can you tell I am NOT a gardner[]

I tried them a few years ago and although the flavour is quite nice, I didn't think them a patch on the variety of tomatoes I always grow. (Golden Queen and Singapore Surprise)

Beware, if that long "capsicum" is a sweet banana. If so it will go yellow, but is super unfriendly to the uninitiated and it burns skin, eyes, and of course your mouth. You will need to harvest them wearing gloves and take care
