Help with Maths re American Volume etc

I have Rainex washer fluid additive for windscreen washer.

How do I convert this:

Add 4 fluid ounzes to treat 1 gallon of water

It's good stuff but if you get the mixture too strong it blocks up the pipes and/or the jets.

Hopefully all you great mathematicians will come up with the right answer.

120ml to 3.8l water or 31ml to 1l water

I usually mix up a litre at a time in a litre milk container so that will be great.

There are 128 fluid ounces per US. gallon - I take it that is an American Gallon quantity you are talking about.
So, the mixture you're looking at is 32:1.
If you are making up litres then, you would mix 31.25 millilitres of the fluid with every litre of water. (Though I imagine that it would still work just fine with 30 mls per litre.)

A good on line conversion site I regularly use is www.onlineconversion.com

They claim they convert just about anything to anything else, but I've not yet found the page to convert base metal to gold! Apart from that, the claim is pretty much right on.
