Is there a way one can find out the country an e-mail originated from? I did google but it takes me to sites that look dodgy.

IP Address Lookup (IPv4 & IPv6) if it opens a google page. Scroll down and you can see a window to put the IP address into and up will come the country of origin. plus other information.
If it opens directly, take out your own IP address which will appear in the window.

Thank you. Aquila-I do not mind sending the e-mail to you but I understand that forwarding it to you will only give you info on my service provider. Let me know if that is not the case. Stikkibeek- am giving your suggestions a go. Will let you know if I am successful.
