How to edit old post

Today I had a phone call from somebody wanting corrogated iron, he got my number from a blog he found after googling. Was going alright as I had some iron to sell, until he text me to ask when a suitable time was to collect the 'free iron'.
After a bit of googling I found a topic on here from 2007 where I was giving away some old iron, I want to remove my number from the post but it is locked, is there any way of doing this?

SG, if it's on a blog of yours, click the little pencil thingy down in the right at bottom of the blog your ph number is in. It's beside the comment word. It should open in edit so you can change the wording.

No, I see it is not a blog at all, but an old thread. Kate would be the one to do that for you.

It didn't turn out too bad in the end. He is coming over shortly to BUY some. I wasn't too worried about my number being there it was more the FREE Iron.
