Any idea where ...........................

I can buy a vege bin thing for my fridge freezer ...fairly newish F&P model...I dropped the blooming stupid vege bin which is hard plastic:eek: ...nearly broke my blooming toe[:0][!] and the bin didn't fare any better ...We went to recycle place today but nothing there ...would like to find a 2nd hand one if poss as I fear a new one will cost more than the fridge did a couple of years back:rolleyes:

I have a F & P fridge too and the inner plastic door shelving started to crack. As the dishwasher repair bloke was fixing said d/w at the time, I asked him and he said i would have to buy a new entire door rather than the internal skin...[:0]

Hope you have better luck than me. I havent replaced my door, but will look at buying another brand when I go to buy a new fridge.

OH says if you lived near he would get you one. Since you don't he said go on-line to www.fisherpaykel.com/nz/kitchen/fridges-freezers/ and buy one on-line (or at least contact them) - should cost about $35

TL, I just heaved a FP fridge in the recycle bin, vege bins and all.
Do you have a city dump in Hamilton as i know ours in Waitakere keep things like that for people
Alternatively, just look in the warehouse and you might find something about the same dimensions in plastic, and perhaps less toe breaking in style

Bumma Muri that would have been fantastic.....we went to the Huntly tip/recycle[xx(][xx(][xx(] not too flash and typical Terry fashion ..I nearly lost him:rolleyes::rolleyes: he loves those places[]
Gas to Hamilton tip would sort of put the cost up to nearly the new price with the now cost of petrol[!]....will try a couple of appliance places for trade in dead ones ... $38 for the new one to fit our fridge [:0] sheesh .....will try the other avenues before parting with that[}]

Thanks guys ...hehehe I lived in Papa-two-toes when I was a iddy biddy kid ...can remember sitting on the septic mushroom under the clothes line with poor old Smokey the cat while Mum hung out the washing ...must've been 2 - 3 years old[]
