aren't goats wonderful!!!!

I love my goat Ted to bits... not only is he just the cutest and friendliest goat in the world but he's got a great sense of humor and on top of that he has done such a wonderful job on the grass that I just have to share...

when Ted first arrived the drive was pretty overgrown and scraggy.. now it is green, lush, shiny grass... when grass was a bit tight over the drought I put him in the front paddock.. the section he grazed is now fit to grace the front cover of a farming magazine.. I've just put the heifers in there this morning and they look like a completely posed photo shoot!!!

Ted is now moving further and further away from the house as I struggle to find accessible grotty grass for him to enjoy.. he sulks on anything vaguely lush and green and runs to get the dry, the grotty and the weedy stuff instead... today he's right outside the gate enjoying some particularly boring stuff that he's gobbling up...

he is the best animal I have ever had the pleasure to have on my property.... love him to bits!!!! Yeah Ted!!!!

it would be better if he was a she and a milking goat!!

Goats are indeed wonderful All mine are and none of them are milking goats....

nah... I don't have time for a milking goat... Ted just suits me and my available time perfectly....next year I'm going to put him in the middle of the paddock on a MASSIVE lead and let him clear up giant crop circles... if he can make my paddocks all look like the front one he's worth his weight in gold.. darling boy..

I have had several milking goats and they are better then dogs.Mine used to greet me and follow me around the paddock plus they reduced the amount of weeds.I loved the fresh milk and was better warm

Had a drive to Gisborne in the weekend, never seen so many goats in my life...just on the side of the road, and disused railway lines next to the road big horns some were really beautiful... lots up in the paddocks and hills. must be a nightmare for farmers.
