Personally I think the new marmite, ( I used to work in the marmite packaging dept) is less strong than it used to be, or my marmite was always less fresh and therefore possibly stronger, by the time I used it as, I kept alot of stock, knowing it wouldn't go off. It was thicker than this fresh stuff. But it could also be a ploy by Sanitarium to gain new customers from the freebies that were giving out, by bringing it back, not as strong, and more like vegemite. Who knows, I eat both, but prefer marmite.

ZummersetGirl I think your hubby means 'Our Mate'. They are not allowed to call it Marmite in NZ because of the competition/same name as kiwi one.ZummersetGirl;459580 wrote: Hubby says UK Marmite aka MyMate in Nz. Personally I can't stand any of them [xx(]
