I have LG android phone which is brilliant and I probably use it to its limits. However it has one big problem - it keeps changing its ringtone and notification tone. I usually have it set to a rooster sound, but at random it changes it to something else.
Last night I lost my phone in the house and was ringing it to find out where it was, I could not hear it ringing because it had changed the ring to something quite quiet. Similarly I miss calls because the ringtone has changed and I do not hear it ring. More importantly I have the calendar set to remind me to take my insulin, which if it changes to just a beep instead of the very loud woody woodpecker that it should be is a fairly major problem
I have searched on google but cannot find a solution. The phone has AVG installed so it should not be a virus.
or, you may be inadvertently changing to a different profile.
phone LG and have a whinge, they should sort it out. alternatively, would probably need the model, IMEI and software version for a professional to diagnose you on the internet.

are you deaf? do you yell at it?
.
It is close to its memory limit, I have it synced to two laptops, I use it almost as you would a tablet, I have a variety of apps on it that I use constantly (and no games). I would like a new phone, but the ones fancy are over $1000 and I cannot justify it.
As far as I can tell there are no settings to randomly change the ringtone
