I have my 'must answer' emails down to 87 but they keep coming in faster than I can deal with them...[][]

I don't want to declare email bankruptcy, I just want time to stand still for everyone else for 48 hours while I catch up [8D]

Ah, thats where outlook rules and filters earn their living. Sorting all the incoming stuff into focused piles, which if not dealt to within 3 days get.. erm.. recycled.

wyseyes...these are the filtered ones [] Most of my email, the stuff that isn't filtered out by my ISP or Mailwasher, gets filed as it arrives. This is the mail I really do have to respond to. I got it down to 74 but it's back up to 81 now...wish me luck!

Kate, I know what you mean. One of the offshoots of having a job where you are the hub of info is that you have to read each and everyone and be up with the play - so I know what you mean, I wish the world would stop for a day every now and then so I could really catch up.

I just answer every one as I get it. It's so much part of my job that I don't allocate time to do it - in fact if I do it that way I get swamped.

Hmmm, maybe I should you some official sounding emails to make the even 100.

What I find frustrating is if I am away for even a couple of days it piles up so badly that I either miss stuff or spend ages catching up...such as I am doing tonight, Nigel Nofriends trolling through emails to make sure there are no recent requests/info requirements I have missed...[V]

Ah well. Such is life.
