How would you get doggy smell out of a couch

Pretty hard to drive past a nice leather couch on the side of the road [well actually two lazyboy chairs and another that form a couch, in nice black leather]
Only problem it has a VERY strong doggy smell
Its still at my friends place near where i found it until i collect it and its in a large open barn but still 'strong'
They cleaned it up with a leather cleaner for me but think it needs some kind of deodoriser.
Any ideas please

Let the billy goat sleep on it for a few weeks. Might mask the stink of dog to some extent. I'm sure that you will get used to it after a while though.

you may well have to disassemble it and get the dog hair and stuff out of all the crvices too deep for a vacuum skinny stick.

Oust is a good spray for killing odour-causing bacteria. Cheap as, so give it a go. I like kiwi's suggestion, though. Bit of a nuisance, but worth it for a good leather sofa.

I will try the oust, sounds easier than either igor or kiwis suggestions.
