bummer, bummer, bummer

got the wire pulled out of my toe today, except it had snapped, so part is still in the foot and also toe is still dislocated, so it is going to be back for yet another op. At least I am free of crutches and moon boot for a few weeks, so can get out and weed the veggie patch which has been taken over by chickweed.

Reading about other people's injuries always reminds me to be thankful for my own mobility!

Back from op number 2, remains of wire removed and part of the toe bone removed to hopefully make it straight again. Fingers crossed it has done the trick.
