Why so low on posts?
It has been very silent last 4 hrs!!
Is internet down in some places or is there a agriculture show going on somewhere?

Were all the regular posters at a morning tea this morning?????

They were having morning tea at AJJ and me just being cheeky over the silence

Waitangi Day over there, and a public holiday, perhaps they are all at the beach....I sure would be if I were not in Aussie at the mo.

Its also E's 10th Birthday today, and she wants to know why she had to go to school today, when she would be having the day off in NZ.

Anyhow Suzanne, I reckon there are less postings all round these days...

Those in South Taranaki may have a good excuse. I am a Civil Defence volunteer, and we are now evacuating Patea as the derilect Freezing Works is on fire, and probably belching asbestos ash all over the town!

I'm at home on a break at the moment - going back later to start organising accommodation for the evacuees if the Health Dept testing shows it is too dangerous there. This could turn into a major environmental disaster. Keep watching the news for updates.

Mind you, I would have been up at the new house site planning out the first vege beds, so I wouldn't have been on here at all.

yes I saw that on the headlines. I hope that everyone will be ok and its just a temporary measure.

They are nice like that... get a few apple cucumber plants going next season and let them gorge

Hope to K303, missed not having a veggie garden this year. Hope to start some square foot gardening in the Autumn.
