My SIL has been admitted to hospital with it and they are probably going to induce her.

Sorry to hear that but I know they do good things for pre-eclampsia mums and bubs. My Hubby's ex suffered from pre-eclampsia at 34 weeks and has a healthy 16 year old today.

Apparently it is very common for multiple pregnancies and not unexpected as she is carrying two bubs, and has made it to 37.5 weeks, plus they are estimating 3.5 kg each for the bubs![:0]

Thanks for the good wishes and info.

She has had the twins by C section

She is reportedly doing well. :D :D

Crikey - my single girl child weighed as much as the twin boy.

Glad she is okay, it is a serious condition and very good that she got onto it quickly.

The bubs will probably grow to be tall like her too! :D

The girl has been named after my mother who died a year or so ago. :)

That's a great weight for twins. Glad it all went well. Congratulations.
I've always really liked the name Madeleine.

Hawkspur, congrats to the mum.
Are you going to post some photos.
She was probably lucky to have had a c section. My kids at 2 kilo each were big enough in my eyes, but were born 5 years apart.
She will need lots of support and help, and hopefully she has strong arms to pick them both up together

Congratulations to your family Hawkspur. What a great effort to carry 6.5kg worth of healthy bubs.[:0] :)

One 3.4kg baby here was bad enough once I went overdue!
