I have them but I have no idea what they are. I get them in the damp spots - 1000's of them under my chick drinkers and even in the water of the drinkers sometimes.

i just call them ' those blerdy midgies' i have thousands come in the toilet window at night ( have back door light that attracts me thinks )..the floor is black with them...bluuck[xx(]

Thunderbugs? They are like little black lines and don't seem to fly - often end up inside picture frames. Other than that, if they flutter, they could be anything.

Going from the picture it looks awfully like a Woolly Mammoth (from about 10 000 metres). But, not if it's got six legs.
With (at least) five million different species of terrestrial insects to choose from this could, in the absence of a better picture, develop into quite a long thread.
The other thing you might consider is, are these 'little bugs' a problem? There are little bugs on and around us all the time.
The average human body has been calculated to be the heated home for around 90 trillion 'bugs' of varying sizes, habits and attitudes.
So, those little ones that you can see crawling on the windows, curtains etc should be the least of your concerns - they're at least minding their own business, not yours.

would you be able to take a very close picture of it? usually cameras has a face or flower close up option which work really good on close encounter...
