I won't tell you how old I was when I had the last one.....

E & I successfully loaded both horses this morning onto our float and off we went for E's riding lesson, I was to be the decorative feature on Billy the standardbred in the arena however I wasn't getting out of it that easy..

anyhow thoroughly enjoyed myself (not at the time doing some things, sheer terror is a better description) and (at this stage) I am not sore. I was so stressed with worry this morning about potential loading issues (see previous threads about it) and then being organised enough not to rush and forget something, and then having to ''do'' something once actually in the arena.... :D

Me thinks I will be back again next week! :) :) :)

Even though I ride every day, often more than 2x a day, work with horses of all sorts, compete and have fun with my friends, having a lesson still gives me sooo much. Sometimes I come away from a lesson on a better high than after a competition.

Awesome feeling.

That's fantastic, Swaggie. I read your previous postings and am very happy that things went so well for you.
Cheers, Mich.

Thanks Mich and Anne. I am a tad sore today but not as much as I expected. Just feel on top of the world to have done it! (if I was back in my teenage years i would be laughing at myself now!).
