I'm stuck at an AKL airport motel all day Sat, as I couldn't get a flight Sun AM to get me to the meeting I need to go to... How far away is Puhoi??

A good half hour on a good day from the airport and then some.

Yep, Puhoi is quite far away form the Airport.. Although it's worth going to the Cheese Factory if you're out that way from out of town

sarniagirl - I heard something about the woodchopping being held on the 14th as a separate event this year.. Not sure why? But that will take a few punters i'm sure!

Ak airport is 63.6 km from Puhoi. that's about 57mins ordinary travelling time, but I did say a good half hour on a good day and then some. Meaning no less than half an hour and probably a bit more. With the new motorway connection it is only marginally longer to Manukau city via motorway than through Puhinui road and that cuts the journey journey a little time wise, so my estimation wasn't too far wrong and no, I don't drive like a maniac. (I'm that little old lady hogging the road; straddling the white line at 25 mph that you tooted at last week!) [}]

Kumeu show is my fav.. But it's been a couple of years since i've been to Puhoi! Looking forward to it supposing we do head along.
