Is it normal for cats to have curly hair? was created by kai
One of my cats is long haired, but a very, very soft coat almost like a rabbit. On top he is straight haired however the underside of his body is totally curly, and I mean curly, not wavy, almost like a sheep.

ah, maybe he has a bit of LaPerm in him then? I suspect more than a bit of Van in him as well. As he was a stray, he could be anything.

My long haired moggy has curly hair on his tummy, more so when it is wet or just dried, and extremely wavy/crimped other times.
