buying music online was created by oskatd
As I don't have an ipod or anything else apple, I don't want to use the itunes store, what are other good options for buying music? Just want usual music files to copy to CD and put on MP3.

I'm pretty sure the files you buy from itunes will work on any mp3 player, but you can type 'Wiki music download' into your search engine and the Wikipedia page gives you the names of a number of online music stores. I would avoid any 'free' sites as they are likely to download something you probably don't want on your computer, like a virus!

I bought one itune, to see if it would play on a Sony MP3, and it wouldn't. I couldn't get any file translator to work either.

thanks. That is what I thought Ruth, who has the time to try and get it to translate.... i wonder if amazon will have the same issue too. Was also hoping there might be somewhere that did NZ$ as the bank charges for currency conversions (thieves!)
