Hi - I'm so excited, can't wait til tomorrow. Murph has got pole - unbelievable given his form all season. I am such an addict that no-one is allowed to disturb me all day. I sit and watch it all from beginning til end every year. Lunch and dinner is all done already so just serve themselves. Got my Murph cap and shirt out ready and the choc and wine :p

Organix .. have you had an epiphany???
Does all that carbon, basically wasted on going in circles have some hidden evironmental benefit that we creosote-sniffers are unaware of?

The fossil fuel burnt during an event like Bathurst probably pales into insignificance when compared to the jet and campervan fuel consumed by the muppets that are mesmerised by grown men chasing an oval ball in the RWC.

And at the end of the day we are soon all going to have to do without the cheap fuel that makes both activities possible so why not enjoy the sport of your choice in the meantime [;)] Personally the self generating set-up we are currently building will more than power our house at our present consumption rate, and will be 'filling' our electric vehicles in the coming years

That reasoning presupposes an awful lot and the argument, if it were to be pursued, would tend to become , like Mount Panorama, essentially circuitous.
I must say however, that I am mildly surprised to learn you are a closet petrol-head.
I just never would've picked it.

What is stated on forums is on a need to know basis, and besides you haven't been around here long enough to know a lot of things [;)]

Maybe, but I can spot a contradiction a mile off.

Great day !! Murph did so well to get 3rd. How he pulls out the big ones I don't know.

Thrilled for Lowndes/Skaife as well - that man always has a smile on his face..

Notice how Tander never acknowledged the amazing effort from Lowdnes on the podium - there is something about that man I don't like.

Good race.
