Had the hard word put on me to take the kids (10 and 14) skiiing. I've been to Porters and felt that there wasn't much there between the beginners and something too hard for me and don't fancy fighting the crowd at Hutt, so is Cheeseman a realistic alternative for the kids (both beginners) and me (skis once every 5 years or so!!!!)?

Cardrona is good. Plenty of beginners and intermediate stuff as well as some hardout madman territory. We go there for a couple of days each year and the children thoroughly enjoy it.
