House building...

...so, from tomorrow morning at 7.30 our builders will (should) arrive to start on the house. They were here a couple of days last week but I was in Auckland/Waikato so missed them. It's great that they're going to be building the house but I've just realised that we have a problem.

They're here at 7.30am
It's not light until about 7am
We have an outdoor shower
The shower is next to the house site
I hate early mornings
It's not possible to wear a headlamp and wash my hair at the same time

This is why we should have built during summer [}][}][}]

[}] You may have to settle for a bath in a bucket in your shed! [}]

You better hope your builder doesn't read this site. He might be early[]:rolleyes:

LOL...I'm thinking about showering in the evening when they've left. But I have thick, curly hair and it needs a few hours to dry. It's only a four and a half month build....I'm sure I can cope for that long [}]

Jeez kate - just become a Rasta and forget it. I'm sure you will get used to the itchy scalp. Besides - Dairy farmers are up at 5.30am so get real lady - 7.30 is late! [][:0][]

Well here I am all clean and tidy and no builders...

It's a bit too exposed for candlelight

Or .... dare I say, do you need light to shower and wash your hair??? [}]
Or..... have a shower and wash your hair once you are dressed? []

The worst scenario is......... on the days when you are not going anywhere, wear a hat

I've just been in the shower while fully dressed Not to get myself clean but to rinse an astounding amount of cat vomit off a duvet cover

we have used scout shower which is just black polythene on a frame around the shower on pallets out in the open and works good, two sections one shower one dressing shed and you could have light in there
