Damn I'll be annoyed if it does as I'm really looking forward to seeing my teenage son in his big school production that he's been rehearsing for 4 months now!!
What do other members want to see before the world ends tonight - quick you have to get in fast.

Husband, two teenagers, Stanley & Jed the greyhounds, one quail (Hawkefrost), one budgie (Chaos) small productive surburban section.

Yeah, there's a really bright light here, of which I'm pretty suspicious!

The Mayan Calendar ends December 21, 2012, so you can bet a bunch of nuts & journalists will hype that up next.

Oh well anything for a good "day after the end" party. :D

Well my Uncle in western Aussie has run out of beer, so risking his options is going out to get some more..,. and geeze the chores still need to be done here, and we are all intact as we know it.

My neighbour who is usually occupied elsewhere decided to take the day off and offered me a beer about 11 am today, much as I appreciate his offer, um 11.00am and alcohol, and hubby at work... pass with thanks.

I thought the whole thing was a lot of ballocks.

swaggie, there's nothing wrong with having a beer at 1100 hrs. Somewhere in the world the sun is over the yardarm.

Only if you have been naughty and then a scorpian was coming to torment you, with wind, rain, earthquakes and an audit from the IRD. :D

We weren't well organised enough to throw an 'end of the world' party this time, but we might have to have one on 21 December next year as it's the silly season then anyway.

One of my favourite parts of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is the Restaurant at the End of the Universe - I can see myself sitting there in a cocktail dress drinking pangalactic gargleblasters and watching the universe implode. No doubt the battery on my video camera would run out 3 seconds into it.
