Despite the fact that no-one wants the government to have the power to disconnect you from the internet merely by being accused of downloading copyright material (none of that pesky 'evidence' required), they are still going ahead to introduce the legislation. Sadly they are hiding this in the emergency powers legislation for the Christchurch earthquake that is being rushed through Parliament now. I am sure some of these powers are needed, but it's underhanded (and cynical) to sneak totalitarian controls in at the same time.
