Creating Photo slideshows/Videos

Help? I've been trying to create a slideshow using Photostage Slideshow Producer. After arranging all my images along with transitions it worked fine in preview but when I saved it to a folder on my pc it saved dozens of seperate images of each image but not as a slideshow.

Does anyone know how I can save it as a slideshow ready to play.

Same with videos. When I try and string together video footage and try and replay I get a message telling me it can't be played as pc doesn't know what program created it.

Is there an easy way by way of downloading a program that is easy to follow.

I'm pretty sure its just my lack of technical knowledge that lets me down.

I use windows live movie maker for videos, put the stills videos on add the music, captions, I find find it not to difficult, frustrating at times, I am no computer buff.
With the stills maybe you need to renumber them, keep saving as you go.

My computer won't let me download windows live movie maker for some reason

I though Windows Moviemaker was part of the stuff you get built in? I have made slide show etc and have never downloaded any special programmes to do it.

I think Windows Movie Maker comes with Windows XP and Windows Live Movie Maker with Windows 7? I burnt out my old machine trying to do too much-so having learned how to do WMM had to learn the Windows 7 version.

I have used both with both and it seemed to work-and I'm no computer whizz!

It is great fun when you get the hang of it. You can make the photos pan in and out or side to side and have them open and close in various ways, as well as adding captions and titles and music, and save direct to Youtube. I have made several short film clips from a mixture of photos and video clips and backed with downloaded suitable music. Then you can burn them to a DVD and make them transportable or able to view on the TV.

Thjanks Sue, it seems I don't have enough space and my PC is a bit old so might have to upgrade. Have no trouble creating but it turns septic when I try and replay.

Yep its a good program...just need a little more. A new PC should sort it.

A new computer solves a lot of problems, ( maybe introduces a few )
