i have a pile of brick that i want to tidy/clean up, there is a machine that cleans the mortar off, what is it called and has anyone used it

my machine is called a bolster. you hit it with a hammer and it runs on elbow grease. [

I've got one of those too. It's a brilliant tool. I've also used it to cut the boot floor out of a japanese car when the towbar bolts wouldn't come off.

A brick scutch. Looks a bit like a double headed hamer with chisle heads.
One acurate blow and the morter falls off. Please excuss the spelling. a concrete rubbing stone can be used to remove the last traces if required.
