Hiya - well I'm about as much in the dark as you guys. I got a couple of very excited (but lacking in detail) emails from Suz about a week ago. She didn't come right out and say her house had sold, but I've quoted her last 3 emails for you so I guess we can draw the conclusion that she will be on her way very soon. I'm really really happy for her and hope all is going to plan. Not sure if she's still at work as that's the email address I've been using. So Suz - if you're out there, let us know how things are going for you, and let me know if you're still at work.
Cheers, Mich.
"I am out of work today,,wil be in tomorrow,,just checking mail fast thru web access,, leaving nz first wek in december if everything goes ok!!! Scared of any details going wrong,,and so excited.
Haven't hardly slept, been thinking about all that needs to be done and no money released until day I am to leave. Have asked the bank for credit so I can arrange to get the NZ Van Lines and my tickets and the dog transport people to get paid.
I'm so buzzing so I can't concentrate. Will be a tough trip. 2 time eleven hrs and hope the dogs do it OK, then I am living in a station wagon and it is snowing. Oooh

Hi Swaggie - yes, the house has sold. In Suz's last message she was talking about the new owners keeping some of her sheep. Her tickets have been booked but she was waiting on confirmation of her 3 dogs travel bookings. I need to recheck the message from home but I think she's due to fly out pretty soon. She has a place to go to when she arrives home. It's fairly rustic but she says it will give her some breathing space and time to reflect. Not sure if she's still at work, but I'll shoot her a quick email and ask her to check in here before she goes.
Just hoping nothing falls over for her before she gets everything settled. RaeM and I expect to keep in contact with her re the quilt project, so we'll keep you posted as much as we can. I think she's had a bit of a hard time getting her things sorted/sold/disposed of on her own. Not a lot of support from friends/colleagues I gather. But hopefully this will be the start of a lot of good things for Suz. Having her beloved dogs with her will be good.
Cheers, Mich.

Me too Suz. I am so hoping that finally you have found a new life away from all the rubbish you have had to go through and I too want to know that you have a new start (no matter how rustic - laugh) that will give you a new and positive start to your new life. Please let us know how you are - some of us feel as though we have known you forever! Regardless - hugs forever.

I am posting early today as I had trouble going back to sleep when SOH left, anyhow started to see in my sleep a laptop posting back to this forum sitting in Sydney international airport, and I was trying to tell her to hurry up she still had some distance to go to board the plane....
(must have been the quilting thread that got me thinking).
anyhow has anyone had an update from Hestia?
