Don't you remember your school day lessons...... The teacher always circled any mistakes...... The Ford name, has a circle around it..... "GO HOLDEN!!".....no more needs to said.... :)

Yes I remember there is a difference between a circle o as around Holden sign and an oval as around ford but guess our teacher know her stuff

Wonderful for Lowdnes and Skaife - Best finish for Murph for awhile. Crap TV3 coverage - have already complained to them for having the stupid news on and not covering the presentation!![:(!] Is the stupid simpsons so important that it couldn't have been replaced???

How can a 2 manufacturer race be even remotely interesting? Go and find a DVD on the history of the race- going back to it's original location and see all the different makes all racing together, much more fun.

When the Skyline came along and dealt to the Aussie cars they banned it. Wow, way to be forward, it's car racisim.

And I have owned over 40 Aussie cars, still have my EH ute but you could not pay me to sit through that yawn fest.
What's that I just stepped in?

Not a great race anymore. The cars all look the same. Who else remembers when they raced road registered cars as they came from the showroom? The E49 charger? The group C cars of the seventies? Or the year the mini coopers cleaned up all comers? Who can imagine drive 500 miles balls-out in a mini?

Westie they were the days of great racing, there were other cars and some Ausy ones that were forced out too, I just watch bits and peaces through the day

they still have the other class races.. they just dont televise..my OH works at Bathhurst every year.. he is on the go for 4 days solid prior to the ' big race' .. they race utes and all sorts.. of course the workers race their camper vans, just cause they can!! :D
