I just had a call from a friend telling me how well you came across, not nervous at all.

You looked and sounded great! I think Paul thought he knew everything though (really!?!?!?).
In my day (I'm so old
) Breakfast occasionally pre-recorded interviews but not very often, and certainly not for news stories, but perhaps for authors or people who were only available at set times.
However, we always said "we spoke to blah blah earlier" or something similar. Once the interview was underway though, if you came in part way through, you wouldn't know whether it was "live" or not.
