My favourite quote is:

The idea is as stupid as my BIL Phil, but unlike Phil, this idea might just work.

Did you know, that what you thought I said, was not what I meant :S

'Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rapidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.'[:0][:0]

Better a fool for a moment, than a fool for a lifetime (one of my teacher's favourite sayings when trying to encourage us to ask questions)

Take a break...while I take care of your home, your block, your pets, your stock! [;)] PM me...

I can never choose a favourite - they change as I do. My current favourite is one by Ray Bradbury, which sums up my sentiments on the recent 5 months of seemingly non-stop rain:

"The rain continued. It was a hard rain, a perpetual rain, a sweating and steaming rain; it was a mizzle, a downpour, a fountain, a whipping at the eyes, an undertow at the ankles; it was a rain to drown all rains and the memory of rains. It came by the pound and the ton, it hacked at the jungle and cut the trees like scissors and shaved the grass and tunneled the soil and molted the bushes. It shrank men's hands into the hands of wrinkled apes; it rained a solid glassy rain, and it never stopped."

From 'The Long Rain'

I know it's not exactly what you meant, but I tend to get bits of stories that I've read stuck in my head, so they sort of become my 'quotes'.

Otherwise, it would have to be:
If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
